Medusa Jones, by Ross Collins
Medusa Jones gives new meaning to a bad hair day. As a Gorgon, she has a head full of snakes and a gaze that can turn her enemies to stone. This would be handy skill to have if only her parents weren’t so insistent that Medusa needs to find other ways to handle her bully problems. These bullies are the seemingly perfect children of the gods, and if Medusa is not allowed to use her most perfect weapon, what is a Gorgon to do?
Fourth graders studying ancient Greek history will enjoy this fanciful take off on the Greek myth of Medusa.
